BRB I'm Taking A Mini Vacation

Me, in Bermuda, on our honeymoon. This was probably the last time I really let go. (And now I totally wish that we were going to Bermuda. It was the best) I don't often do this, but I'm taking a mini vacation, you guys. Mr. T is on spring break (woo!) so we're headed out of town for a few days. Then, when we get back, his family is coming for the weekend for a little visit and to see the new house. So I feel like I should (and I really, really want to) disconnect for a few days.

I will admit that I feel a little guilty. I actually started this post by apologizing. I had all these plans for posts for the week, but then I just felt overwhelmed. We're working on so many things for the house and I have so much going on with the shop. But, honestly, taking time off just always scares me a little. I don't know why. If I was still working my office job, I'd request my time and then turn on my out of office and never look back.

And I really need to do it now. Things have been so crazy. I need to take a little time off. Disconnect. Recharge my batteries. And, like I said in a previous post, I'm working to find the balance.

So, I'm applying the same thing here and turning on my out of office. I'll be out of commission for about a week. I'll be on social media some. But no posts and no emails for a few days. I'm super excited to have some much needed R&R and time with Mr. T.

I'm embracing the fun in life (and the fun parts of being a business owner and a husband who works in academia. They get a spring break, you guys, Seriously.)

Of course, at the moment this is totally me:

But after that, I'm embracing the fun. I promise. So have a happy week and I'll be back next week with some awesome posts!
